Withdraw
Withdrawing burns your zTokens and returns the underlying plus everything it has earned. Availability depends on pool liquidity, reserve status and any constraints on your indebted position.
What can block a withdrawal
- Your own debt. Pulling out collateral lowers your health factor, and the protocol will not let you take out so much that the position drops below 1.0. With debt outstanding only the surplus is withdrawable; repay first to free the rest.
- Pool liquidity. You can only withdraw what is actually sitting in the pool. If borrowers have drawn most of the USDG, a large withdrawal may wait for repayments, and the high rates that come with high utilisation are what pull that liquidity back.
- Price availability, but only while you are in debt. Removing collateral from an indebted account needs a valuation, so it is blocked when the required price is unavailable. Transferring collateral zTokens out of an indebted account is blocked the same way, for the same reason.
If the asset borrow gate sets your collateral's LTV to zero, withdrawals while you have debt can be restricted even when its price is valid. Repaying the full debt removes the account's collateral-health constraint; withdrawal still needs available liquidity and an active, unpaused reserve.
Step by step
- 1Open your position. At app.zona.finance/lend, find the asset under your deposited assets and switch the control panel to Withdraw.
- 2Enter an amount. The percentage buttons work off what is withdrawable right now, which with debt outstanding is less than your full balance.
- 3Check the projected health factor. Withdrawing enabled collateral can lower it. If it lands near 1.0, withdraw less.
- 4Withdraw. The underlying, including accrued interest, lands back in your balance.

Things worth knowing
- Withdrawing collateral raises your risk. Borrowing more can also lower your health factor. Supplying an asset only helps when it counts as collateral. See Health Factor.
- Interest is already in the balance. zTokens accrue in place, so there is nothing separate to claim, withdrawing the full balance takes the earnings with it.
- Closing out is repay, then withdraw. Clear the debt and the whole collateral balance frees up in one step.
